Birmingham Heritage Week 2023
Join Alyson and Poppy from Creative Writing Events for a one hour poetry writing workshop at the Pen Museum in Birmingham.
Your ticket includes entry to the workshop, and the museum after the workshop has finished.
People write poetry for many reasons. For pleasure, for therapy, for love! It’s a good way to express yourself and make senses of the world.
There are many different types of poetry from Byron’s epics to the less flowery interpretations of life from Benjamin Zephaniah. There’s a poet in us all, so why not come along and test your skills? The workshop, ideal for beginners and those who wish to develop their skills, is led by two local writers in an informal, relaxed setting. Bring a notebook and pen.
