Schools & Special Groups
The Pen Museum is an ideal place for school and special group visits. Whether you’re an adult learner, community group or school you can enjoy partially guided tours, writing using a range of pens and even dressing up.
The Museum provides a fun, interactive experience. Come and visit us to become immersed in a Victorian style setting with plenty of hands-on activities, including a chance for visitors to help make their own pen nib from scratch using machinery that would have been used in the 1800’s.
For schools and special groups, we usually charge a special rate of £3.00 per person (Teachers and Carers free) .
(Recommended for Children aged 10+)
Groups of 10 visitors and above should contact the Museum in advance to enable us to be prepared for their visit.
“Many thanks for looking after our party from RESTORE, we had a great time! The time we spent with you was really informative, interactive and fun. From the welcome at reception and initial introduction to the museum, through all the input from other members of the team and the activities on offer I was very impressed and grateful. I look forward to returning again with another group and encourage you to keep up the really good work!”
