Schools & Special Groups
The Pen Museum is an ideal place for school and group visits. Whether you’re an adult learner, community group or school you can enjoy guided tours, making and using a range of pens and even dressing up.
The Pen Museum provides a fun, interactive experience for all ages. Come and join us and become immersed in a Victorian style setting with plenty of hands-on activities, including a chance for visitors to help your own pen nib from scratch using machinery that would have been used in the 1800s.
For schools and special groups, we usually charge a special rate of £2 per person (Teachers and Carers free) . To arrange a visit to the museum, please contact us.
What they said about us
When three Year 11 students from Perry Beeches II (Central Academy) the Free School in Birmingham joined us for a week, they thoroughly enjoyed their time with the Museum and so did we! Beverlie Weston, Community & Partnership Co-ordinator at he School commented on behalf of the students placed at the Museum.
“Perry Beeches II the Free School (Central Academy) would like to express our sincere thanks to you and your team for accommodating Daniel Haughton, Wesley King and Danielle Van den Berg on their work experience.
The students have totally enjoyed the experience and kept a log of the activities they have carried out last week. They have commented on how they have been looked after really well, and treated like a member of the team. Also how they have gained experience within the world of work. None of this would have been possible without your help and support. Once again thank you for investing your time into our young people.”
