Suffrage Exhibition Prize Giving
As reported in the Summer edition of Pentalk, the Penscribes at the Pen Museum mounted an exhibition of calligraphy in the museum entitled “Suffrage”. In the spirit of the subject matter, visitors and volunteers were invited to vote on which piece of work most appealed to them. The slips have now been counted and the person with the most votes is Linda Toft. On Saturday 27 October, Jackie Hancox, one of our trustees, visited the museum to present the prize which she had donated – a very handsome Caithness paperweight/inkwell which had originally belonged to her husband, Keith, who had also been a trustee/volunteer.
