Meet Chris Collett at the Pen Museum – Book Signing
July 21 - 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Chris will be selling and signing copies of her bestselling DI Mariner books. Come along on the 21st July between 12:00-14:00 to meet Chris, no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day. This event will be taking place during the Jewellery Quarter festival, a three day event of performances, workshops, activities and tours; a fantastic time to visit the museum and see the very best of what the Quarter has to offer.
The Birmingham-based DI Tom Mariner series evolved from a single idea: what if the sole witness to a serious crime had autistic spectrum disorder and was unable to communicate what he had seen?
The DI Mariner books are being re-launched by Joffe Books and consistently feature in the Top 100 Paid on kindle. “Innocent Lies” (Mariner #2) recently reached No. 1 in the Australian bestseller list. Those currently available are:
Deadly Lies (DI Mariner #1)
Innocent Lies (DI Mariner #2)
Killer Lies (DI Mariner #3)
Baby Lies (DI Mariner #4)
Married Lies (DI Mariner #5)
About the Author:
Chris Collett grew up in a Norfolk seaside town, before moving to Liverpool, to train as a teacher for children with learning difficulties. The journey from east to west often involved a stop-off in Birmingham, a place she quickly decided she would never want to live. After graduating, the first job she was offered was naturally, in Birmingham. Within a few months she met her now husband, moved to the Bournville village trust (within inhaling distance of Cadbury’s) and she has remained in the city ever since.
