Calligraphy Teacher From a calligraphy school in Krakow (Poland) the calligraphy teacher will be demonstrating 3 or 5 different medieval scripts.  There will be a chance to buy a book mark with a name with proceeds to the Museum. The calligrapher is left-handed and writes upside down. Kamil B

Calligraphy demonstration with Sheila Smith of Birmingham Calligraphy Society. Sheila will demonstrate basic calligraphy techniques, and produce a beautiful handcrafted bookmark for you to take home with you. Demonstration is free to attend, normal Museum admission charges do apply.

Calligraphy demonstration with Sheila Smith. We will be again welcoming Sheila Smith onSunday November 6th. 1pm to 4pm for a Calligraphy Demonstration, it promises to be a wonderful experience. Sheila will demonstrate basic calligraphy techniques and produce a beautifully handcrafted bookmark for you to take home with you . Introduction to calligraphy - Christmas Cards. Sheila Smith will be introducing visitors to the art of calligraphy by showing them how to do a few very simple letters which they can then use to make their own Christmas card. Sheila will show visitors how to do short Christmas words which they can practice and then copy, by tracing or using a stencil, a design onto a card, and add the word/s of their choice. Join us at the Pen Museum to make your own Christmas Gift Tags. Come along this Sunday to learn basic calligraphy and personalise your own Christmas gift tags. This drop-in workshop will be the ideal way to provide a unique finish to all your festive presents, all under the supervision of a skilled calligrapher.
